It's been a while!

It's been a while since we've posted here so I wanted to give everyone a quick update on what we've been up to!

We've been feeling stuck the last season of our lives and we've been wanting to do something about it. So we decided to take the entire month of May to focus in on a few key things including our individual health, priorities, discipline, and the most exciting one, writing an album's worth of music! It's been a challenging month and digging deep down into your own soul to try and write from within can be more frustrating than anything, but I've been learning that sticking with things especially when it seems like it's impossible is when you grow the most.

(Edward speaking) This month I finished a 6-month-long spinal rehab! 6 months ago I found out that I had a lot of bad things going on with my spine. The big thing was most of the spinal curve was gone, it was causing constant back pain, stress and we even think it may of been a factor in my multi-year battle with migraines! Anyways, I say all that to say this!!- there was a point halfway in I felt like I couldn't do it anymore, I dreamed up excuses why I didn't want to or why I couldn't, but I made myself stick with it everyday because I wanted to better myself, I wanted to reach the goal bad enough.. and in 6 months I manage to go from having a 8° curve in my lower lumbar to a 30° curve! with regular exercise, healthy eating and working on more of a ruotine schedule I was able to reach a goal that seemed so hard at first! I'm finding it's the same in all areas in life, including our band! This month has been a huge time of learning and perspective changing.

So far the month of May has shown me that it all starts with accomplishing the simple reachable things first, then working your way up to bigger and better things. Reach the bar, then raise it. ... What a quote! 😋😏
